I’m Hannah, and welcome to The Layered Look

My journey in residential interior design began with a career in property, where I gained a solid understanding of how spaces work and their potential to evolve. This led me into property styling, where I honed my skills in transforming spaces to reflect both character and functionality.

After several years of styling properties, I joined a small interior design studio, where I further developed my design expertise and learned the intricacies of crafting personalised interiors for a diverse range of clients. To deepen my knowledge and refine my craft, I pursued a Level 3 Diploma in Interior Design at the prestigious National Design Academy.

The Layered Look was established in 2024 from my small home office based in Richmond, London. My design style is a blend of traditional English country charm, combined with a contemporary edge. I love to create spaces that feel both timeless and fresh, mixing classic elements with modern touches for a unique, balanced aesthetic. I believe that good design should age well and remain relevant for years to come, which is why I aim to create interiors that stand the test of time and do not follow fleeting trends.
